Sheikh Muhammad Umar Jallo is an Imam, Religious Leader and Preacher of the Masjid Ibn Abbass Mosque in Ashaiman, near Tema, Ghana from 1997 till date. He is an expert in Islamic Law and Jurisprudence and has since 1998 till date been engaged in the translation of the Quran (Tafseer). Sheikh Jallo is also a proprietor of Naasir Islamic School in Ashaiman.
Sheikh Umar Jallo was studied English and French at the College of Education in 1986. He subsequently, furthered his education in Arabic Studies at Islamic Research in Nima, Accra in 1990 and then Islamic University of Niger in 1997.
He is an excellent communicator and a motivator with good interpersonal relationship as a leader, capable of working independently.
