Sheik Abdullahi Bala Lau is the National Chairman Jama’atul Izalatul Bid’ah Wa Iqamatul Sunnah (JIBWIS) Nigeria. He became the Public Relations Officer (P.R.O) of the organization at age of 19, in his home state of Taraba.
He was appointed chief Iman of Daubeli Juma’ah mosque of Yola North. His dedication to work enabled him to become a member of JIBWIS National Executive Committee, National Preaching Class and Chairman Launching Committee. Bla Lau became the Deputy National Chairman after the demise of Sheikh Abubakar Ikara. Bala Lau has never relented in his struggle and advocacy for personal economic emancipation and self reliance among Muslims.
Among his achiements are the establishments of Manara Foundation; Sunnah TV, Families in difficult circumstances Fund, Organization of International Conference of all Ahlu Sunnah; Manara TV and Radio; Manara Scratch Card; the JIBWIS printing Press and JIBWIS Tertiary Institution under construction at Kaduna, in Kaduna state.
