Lawyer Farouck Seidu obtained Barrister-at-Law Certificate from the Ghana Law School in 1992 and called to the BAR the same year. He holds an honours bachelor’s degree in LAW and SOCIOLOGY from the University of Ghana, 1990. He started his career with the Ghana Legal Aid where he was attached to ADVENT CHAMBERS, ACCRA.
From 1993 t0 2003, Lawyer Seidu practised as Solicitor/Barrister at BLAY & ASSOCIATES, (NZEMA CHAMBERS and in 2000 he was appointed a partner of the firm. He is a Solicitor for a number of Organisations and companies including, the Horticultural Association of Ghana (HAG), Musicians Union of Ghana (MUSIGHA), Georgefields Farms Ltd, Prudent Farms Ltd, Mashaco Farms Ltd, Cargo Truck Drivers Association of Ghana, M-Plaza Hotels etc.
Lawyer Seidu has a special interest in football and has been a solicitor for a number of football clubs: Solicitor for Asante Kotoko Football Club (1993 – 1994), Solicitor for Agona Swedru All Blacks Football Club (1995 – 1998). From 1999 to date he is the Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Juvenile and Third Division Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee. Since 2004, Lawyer Seidu has set up his own legal firm known as FAROUCK SEIDU and ASSOCIATES. (IBADA CHAMBERS).
His specialized Areas are Property (Land) Law, Company(Corporate) Law, Drafting, Adoption, Human Rights and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association.
