A much sought after international public speaker, nancial expert, motivator, and authority on leadership, Mr. Alhassan Andani has since joining Stanbic Bank Ghana in 2006, led the transformation of the Bank from one of the minor players in the nancial services industry to a tier-one bank. This fact is recognized by industry specialists and analysts. PwC recently assert that “In the last three years Stanbic consistently gained market share amidst the risk relating to the unfavorable macroeconomic environment.
With Alhassan Andani at the helm, the bank has signicantly improved its service delivery system and increased its footprint to 38 branches, 105 ATMs across the country. In recognition of this, the Chartered Institute of Marketing Ghana named Andani the Marketing Man of the Year 2014. Mr. Andani is an Honorary Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Bankers Ghana.
An alumnus of the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme, Andani holds an International Management Certicate from INSEAD, Fontainbleau, France, a Master’s Degree in Banking and Finance from FINAFRICA, Milan and a Bachelor of Science degree in Agriculture from the University of Ghana, Legon.
He is currently the President of the Ghana Association of Bankers. He also sits on the board of several organizations including the Goldelds Group Limited, Goldelds Tarkwa and Aboso, SOS Villages, Council for Scientic and Industrial Research – Savana Agricultural Research Institute (CSIR – SARI), Ghana Interbank Payment and Settlement Systems (GhIPSS), Accra Hearts of OAK, Zakat & Sadafa Fund, Baraka Policy Institute, Stanbic Bank Ghana, and Stanlib Ghana Ltd.
Mr Andani volunteers his services to a number of Non Prot Organisations which speaks to his love for philanthropy and makes signicant personal donations to a number of institutions, families and individuals. Andani is a transformational leader with the kind of passion, drive and excellent performance track record that has led him to become one of the nation’s well known leaders in the banking industry. He is also an inspirational leader and has a passion to develop the private sector and a role model to the youth.
