WELCOME TO ISLAMIC NURSING TRAINING SCHOOL
The Islamic Nursing School (INS) was established with the sole purpose of providing gainful skills to young individuals in disadvantaged communities in coastal communities through nursing education.
It is intended for all persons, especially people of the Islamic faith. It is open to all individuals from all faiths. It has received authorisation to commence preparation towards accreditation.
Our vision is to become a leading state-of-the-art Nursing Training Institution in Ghana and Africa. We envision the Islamic Nursing Training School as a pace setter in modelling standards, educational innovation, scholarship and excellence with a view to transforming nursing nationally and globally.

Applications are invited from qualified applicants for admission into the following programmes at Islamic Nursing Training School for the 2021/2022 academic year.

Diploma in Registered General Nursing
Diploma in Registered General Nursing
1. WASSCE Entry Requirement
Applicants must have Credit pass (A1-C6) in FIVE (5) subjects, comprising THREE (3) Core Subjects including English Language and Mathematics, and TWO (2) Elective Subjects relevant to the programme chosen.
2. SSSCE Entry Requirement
Applicants must have Credits (A-D) in FIVE (5) subjects, comprising THREE (3) Core Subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, and TWO (2) Elective Subjects relevant to the programme chosen.
b. DIPLOMA IN COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING
Access to this programme shall be at the discretion of the learning environment. However, it will be beneficial if the applicant holds any of the following:
- A University degree, Higher National Diploma or a National Certificate II on the NTVETQF.
- City and Guilds Advanced Certificate/Part III in a trade area.
- A minimum of three passes in Royal Society of Arts/Ghana Commercial Examinations Stage III in approved business subjects with at least two (2) years working experience.
- A certificate from a Farm Institute with at least two (2) years working experience.
Diploma in Public Health Nursing
